UAX6 General Features This UAX 'supersedes' the U5 (this is occording to the EI, but in fact there were always more U5's than U6's and they were both superseded by the standard range), and is equipped with 25 line ccts, capacity for four junction relay sets, four connecting links, a sub’s multiple of 200 lines and most significantly it is the first Uax to introduce three digit numbering and 2-10 PBX hunting. Seven units were generally the maximum number fitted in one exchange, which gave 175 lines and twenty junctions. An eighth unit could be added but this was seldom done as it only released another five line ccts for use. |
